Description
Trend VDV II Plus Voice, Video, and Data Cable Verifier (R158002)
The Trend VDV II Plus Voice, Video, and Data Cable Verifier (R158002) is specially designed to test the integrity of copper cables and is suitable for testing telephone wiring, data networks, and video/security cabling in domestic, commercial, or industrial environments. This unit goes beyond a wiremapper with its analog tone generator, voltage protection, 0.3 to 450m length range, and shielded cable testing.
The advanced wiremap engine accurately and instantly displays complex wiring faults, making troubleshooting more efficient and improving on-site productivity. The VDV II Plus includes all the functionality of the VDV II and adds hub blink and distance to open functions. Integrated RJ11/RJ12 (voice), RJ45 (data), and F-Type (video) connectors eliminate the need for separate adapters or testers and allow swift testing of most low-voltage cables.
The larger backlit 2.9″ digital screen of the Trend VDV II Plus Voice, Data & Video Cable Verifier is protected by a rugged, ergonomic outer shell. Operated via a simple push-button interface, the intuitive interface is handheld & battery powered. Supplied with a carry case & cables, the result is an extremely portable instrument capable of operating in dimly lit areas whilst withstanding the toughest of site conditions.
