The Trend LanTEK III Cable Certifier is independently verified by Intertek for accuracy, making it an ideal choice for technicians seeking a versatile instrument for field use.
Equipped with TDRL and TDX troubleshooting features, the LanTEK III aids in locating hidden connections, splices, and cable faults. It is also compatible with FiberTEK III adapters, allowing fast and simple certification of high-bandwidth single-mode and multimode fiber optic cabling, including support for encircled flux testing.
Technicians can use the free TREND AnyWARE app to easily share test data with colleagues or customers, reducing costs and enhancing collaboration for on-time job completions. The latest version of TREND DataCENTER (IDC) PC software enables easy downloading, managing, editing, and printing of PDF reports.
Designed for durability, the LanTEK III features a rugged design and offers a phenomenal 18-hour battery life for continuous testing. It is compatible with all RJ45 cabling systems and can use the new Permanent Link (PL) adapters, reducing maintenance costs and saving time.
The optional Trend Permanent Link (PL) adapters further reduce downtime and maintenance costs with field-replaceable RJ45 contacts, eliminating the need to replace the entire adapters. The PL adapters have centered connectors for compatibility with all brands of Cat6A/Class EA cables and use high-performance, ultra-flexible cables, ensuring safe use in confined spaces without damaging the PL adapters or the outlet being tested.
The Trend LanTEK III Cable Certifier is also available in a 1000MHz model.
