Trend FiberTEK IV-SM Laser Kit
The Trend FiberTEK IV-SM Laser Kit is designed for use with the Trend LANTEK IV Cable Certifier to test single-mode fiber optic data cables. It ensures testing to international standards, including ANSI/TIA and ISO/IEC, and features a field calibration capability for 1 and 3 jumper field calibration.
The FiberTEK IV-SM Laser Kit enables bi-directional measurements and supports optional encircled flux testing. Its red laser light source facilitates locating faults and fiber ports. The kit includes a separate LED that flashes green when connected to the LANTEK IV and red when it detects another light source.
Streamlining testing, the FiberTEK IV negates the need to manually merge directional tests into one record. The module supports various connector types, including SC, FC, and ST leads, thanks to the included adaptors.
The kit comprises two single-mode FiberTEK IV modules, a convenient carry case, cable adaptors, an SC-SC patch cord, and a quick reference guide.
