Description
For calibrating vibration sensors, meters, analyzers, and testers, the PCE-VC20 is a highly effective device. It has a maximum weight capacity of 600 g (1.32 lb) and generates mechanical vibrations with a quartz-stabilized frequency of 159.15 Hz (1000/s radian frequency).
PCE-VC20 provides load-independent vibration magnitudes, including:
– 10 m/s² vibration acceleration
– 10 mm/s vibration velocity
– 10 µm vibration displacement.
Equipped with a control circuit and reference accelerometer, the vibration calibrator ensures a constant vibration level. The display shows the percentage error, indicating the deviation between the measured amplitude and the target value. If the calibration is correct, the display should approach 0.0%. However, if the error exceeds 3%, the device emits an audible alert. To prevent overload, the calibrator has an automatic shutdown feature.
The PCE-VC20 is compatible with sensors that can be connected through magnets or threads. The package includes a thread adapter to accommodate M3, M5, M8, 1/4″-28, and UNF 10-32 threads.
This versatile calibrator is suitable for both field and laboratory use. It comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, automatic power-off function to conserve battery life, battery charge indicator, and an AC power adapter for charging. The supplied carrying case ensures convenient handling and safe transportation.
The PCE-VC20 Vibration Calibrator offers the following features:
– Vibration acceleration, velocity, and displacement
– Load-independent vibration magnitudes
– Display showing frequency, amplitude, error percentage (%), and date of last calibration
– Audible alert for exceeded error limit
– Suitable for laboratory and field use.
