The ultrasonic thickness tester is capable of measuring material thicknesses up to 300 mm (11.81 inches). To ensure accurate measurement of various homogeneous materials, the corresponding speed of sound can be stored in the device. The device library already includes sound speeds for materials such as steel, aluminum, zinc, silver, and gold, making the ultrasonic thickness tester suitable for universal use.
The limit value function allows users to store individual maximum and minimum values. If a measured value falls outside these limits, the ultrasonic thickness tester provides visual and optional acoustic signals. This feature is particularly useful in quality assurance and incoming goods inspections.
The ultrasonic thickness tester includes a data memory for storing measured values. After completing a measurement sequence, users can directly analyze the stored data on the device. The ultrasonic thickness tester graphically displays the stored data and allows users to access and read individual measuring points. In addition, the average, largest, and smallest measured values are conveniently displayed for simplified analysis. The ultrasonic thickness tester can also be equipped with an optional ISO calibration certificate.
