Description
The ultrasonic level indicator is a suitable device for measuring the filling level of a silo. It can be connected to the operational process control with the 4 … 20 mA output signal for further processing. The level indicator can determine if a silo is adequately filled. Its high IP protection class ensures electrical component protection in case of water leakage.
The level indicator has a measuring range of 10 meters / 32.8 ft, making it suitable for monitoring larger silos. It can indicate either the level or the distance between the medium and the sensor, depending on the application. Additionally, the level indicator can measure the ambient temperature. With its extensive functions and safety features, it is an ideal tool for silo system monitoring.
The ultrasonic level indicator can interpret the widely-used 4 … 20 mA process signal. Its ability to freely scale the input signal allows for versatile use. The current measurement result can be easily read on the large 4-digit LED display.
The level indicator can be directly connected to 2-wire sensors or transmitters through the optional 24 V sensor supply, simplifying its use. Configuration can be done using the freely available software LPCon, with the PD14 programming adapter enabling settings to be made or read. Configurations created with the software can be saved and recalled as needed.
