Description
Non-destructive coating and dry film thickness measuring device for ferrous (Type F) and non-ferrous (Type N) metal substrates.
PCE-CT 5000H is a thickness measuring instrument used to quickly determine coating thicknesses on ferrous (Type F) and non-ferrous (Type N) metals. It automatically detects the type of metal being measured. The gauge uses magnetic induction (ferrous) or eddy current (non-ferrous) to take non-destructive measurements of coating and dry film thickness on metal substrates like steel and aluminum.
This gauge is ideal for testing painted and powder-coated surfaces, automotive paint inspection, material testing, and quality control applications in manufacturing. It allows users to set alarm limits to notify when a coating is too thick or too thin. If a measurement falls outside the set limits, a message appears on the display to alert the user.
