The Thickness Gauge has a measuring range of 0 … 2000 µm. It can measure the coating thickness on both ferrous (Fe) and non-ferrous (NFe) metals. It also includes a measuring function based on the SSPC standards to analyze the corrosion protection of a coating.
The Group function stores the measured values directly on the Thickness Gauge, with a memory capacity of 50 groups and 50 measurements each. Statistics are created for all measured values within each group, which can be recalled after a measurement run.
To further analyze the measured values, the Thickness Gauge can be connected to a PC via its micro-USB interface. The software enables the transfer of measurement data from the device to the PC, as well as live measurements. The measured values can be exported in CSV and XLS format for further processing.
In addition to coating thickness, the Gauge can also measure the temperature and humidity of the environment. This feature helps determine whether the climatic conditions are suitable for further coating processing.
The V-groove enables the measurement of coating thickness on pipes and other similar objects. The Thickness Gauge can be optionally equipped with an ISO calibration certificate.
