Description
The PCE-DT 50 is a handheld tachometer designed for quick speed checks. It can measure the rotational speed of moving objects like shafts, drives, and pinions. This handheld tachometer uses a laser to emit light and a receiving diode to detect the light-dark contrast of the reflected light. It can measure speeds ranging from 2.5 to 99,999 rpm (RPM). The tachometer’s illuminated display shows the speed, and it can measure distances from 50 to 500 mm / 2 to 19.7 in.
The handheld tachometer offers two measuring modes: manual and automatic. In manual mode, the tachometer measures as long as the trigger is pressed, while in automatic mode, it measures until the automatic mode is ended. The tachometer also includes a MAX, MIN, AVG mode for further evaluation of the measured values, which automatically determines the maximum, minimum, and average readings.
