The PCE-RT-11 Surface Tester is a portable measuring instrument that can accurately determine surface roughness (Ra, Rz, Rq, and Rt) in one device. This compact roughness tester is specifically designed for quick and efficient roughness measurements. Roughness refers to the unevenness of the surface height in surface physics.
The roughness tester operates based on the same principle as highly accurate laboratory measuring instruments, using a piezoelectric micro probe. This device is easy to use and provides high repetitive accuracy. By simply pressing a button, the piezoelectric micro probe scans the surface within seconds and displays the digital value (Ra, Rz, Rq, or Rt) based on the preselected cut-off length.
