Description
The surface tester is a device used to non-destructively measure the thickness of coatings (such as varnishes, paints, plastics) on steel, iron, and non-ferrous metals. It features an external sensor which allows for easy measurement of hard-to-reach areas. The menu navigation of the tester enables simple adjustment and setting of parameters, making it an indispensable tool for control measurements in production, workshop, and quality assurance.
Additionally, the surface tester is ideal for immediately determining and evaluating damage to vehicles, and can also be effectively used in the industrial sector for incoming and outgoing inspection, as well as material testing during production.
With its ergonomic design and external sensor, the surface tester provides rapid and accurate measurement results. It can measure non-magnetic layers such as paint, plastic, chrome, copper, zinc, enamel, etc. on steel/iron, as well as non-conductive layers like paint, plastic, enamel, paper, glass, rubber, etc. on copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel, including anodized aluminum.
The surface tester has the following features:
– For measurements on iron/steel and non-ferrous metals
– Measurements unaffected by vibrations
– Practical V-groove on the measuring heads
– Ergonomic design
– Warning message for measurements outside the maximum measuring range
– Wear-resistant, spring-mounted measuring head for precise results
