PCE-432 is a class 1 data-logging sound level meter that meets various requirements. This portable high-accuracy sound level meter is equipped with GPS functionality for precise geographic location.
The meter has an illuminated LCD screen that displays the sound pressure level (SPL) numerically and graphically in real time. Octave band filtering allows for detection of even slight frequency differences. The meter also functions as a data logger, recording measurements at an adjustable interval and storing the data to a micro SD card. The SD card can be removed and inserted into a PC, or the meter can be connected directly to a PC via USB for easy data analysis.
This device measures from 22 to 136 db(A) at a frequency of 3 Hz to 20 kHz. It features different frequency weightings and time weightings. The PCE-432 decibel meter is commonly used to ensure compliance with noise regulations and workplace exposure limits. It is also suitable for noise monitoring at airports and air force bases.
