Description
The Profilometer – Roughness Tester PCE-RT 1200 is a portable device used to detect surface roughness. It can be used in various settings, including laboratories, production areas, and on-site locations. The device is powered by a rechargeable battery, allowing for mobile use. Measurement values are shown on a clear OLED display on the device itself. The profilometer can store up to 20 measured values, which can be later transferred to a PC through the micro-USB interface. The included measurement software is especially useful for analyzing measurement series. The software allows for easy evaluation of data displayed on the screen. The device also comes with a protective cap for the sensor and a calibration plate with roughness standard to ensure accurate measurement results.
- Rz = average roughness: Rz is the arithmetic mean of the largest single roughness depths of adjacent individual measuring sections.
- Ra = arithmetic centers roughness: Ra is the average of the absolute values of the profile deviations within the reference line. It is a commonly recognized roughness parameter and is always smaller than the Rz value determined on the same roughness profile.
The Profilometer – Roughness Tester PCE-RT 1200 has the following features:
- Compact size
- Easy to handle
- Large OLED display
- Measures 4 parameters of roughness
- The probe of the roughness meter consists of a high-quality diamond
- Displays measured values in tabular form
- Can also display measured values as a graph
- Micro-USB interface for online data transmission to a PC, ideal for serial measurement or laboratory use
- Internal rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3000 measurements per charge (Li-ion)
