The PCE-LOC 20 process calibrator allows for direct simulation of process currents in current loop, mV, and mA. This enables the calibrator to be used for setting process displays, data loggers, paperless recorders, etc. With galvanically isolated connections, the calibrator can serve as both a source and a measuring device, regardless of whether it is measuring currents or simulating voltages.
The PCE-LOC 20 process calibrator offers a high accuracy of 0.02% of the measured value in all operating modes. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that can be charged via a USB power adapter. The calibrator can also read out the memory through this interface. The LCD display makes operation easy.
In addition to directly specifying simulated parameters, the PCE-LOC 20 process calibrator has a ramp mode for incremental and automatic parameter changes over a defined time period. It can also specify the scaled process value, such as temperature in °C/°F, and simulate the analog process value in mA.
