Description
The multi-parameter photometer is a portable device for analyzing liquids. It can perform various measurements depending on the user’s needs. For instance, it can measure alkalinity, chlorine, cyanuric acid, and pH value. To carry out a measurement, a 10 ml water sample is placed in a cuvette. The built-in LED in the photometer emits light in wavelengths of 503 nm, 570 nm, and 620 nm. By analyzing the light transmission of the sample, a photodiode in the photometer determines the value to be measured.
The multi-parameter photometer automatically stores each measurement. The stored data can be accessed via the Bluetooth interface of the photometer using a mobile device or a computer with the help of a free app or software, respectively. Additionally, the measured data can be uploaded to a cloud service, allowing easy access from anywhere. These features are all provided free of charge.
