The PCE-432-EKIT is a Class 1 decibel meter that meets all requirements for noise measurement and frequency analysis. It is equipped with a GPS receiver which allows the user to assign the measured values to an exact position.
This precision pulse decibel meter follows all valid standards and guidelines (Class 1 EN/IEC 61672, ANSI S1.4-1983, ANSI S1.43-1997 EN/IEC61260, etc.). It has a large illuminated display that shows the sound pressure level numerically and graphically in real time. The decibel meter also has an integrated data logger, and the measurement data can be stored on a micro SD card. This card can be read directly in the PC. Furthermore, the decibel meter can be connected to the PC via USB for data retrieval and analysis with the provided post-processing software.
The PCE-432 has various applications such as workplace noise measurement, compliance, environmental noise detection, selection of hearing protector, selection of noise abatement measures, and noise exposure estimation.
The pulse function allows recording of short-term sound events, and the integrated octave band function detects even the smallest differences in frequency bands. The frequency filter can be upgraded as an option. The measuring range of this decibel meter is from 22 … 136 dB (A) at a frequency of 3 Hz … 20 kHz.
The outdoor sound measurement kit PCE-4xx-EKIT can be combined with the PCE-428, 430, or PCE-432 decibel meters. It enables long-term measurement of outdoor noise. The kit includes a waterproof Peli carrying case with rollers, additional lead gel batteries for up to 10 days of operation, rain and wind protection, wire mesh for the microphone, and a tripod for outdoor placement. The charger in the kit is also waterproof. The outdoor noise meter is suitable for measuring road noise, aircraft and train noise, event noise, etc., regardless of the weather conditions.
