The sound level data logger PCE-SLD 10 is used for continuous monitoring of sound levels. It can store and display measured values, as well as output them as a 4 … 20-mA analog value. The logger has a wide measuring range of 30 … 130 dB and offers A or C frequency weighting options. It also has fast or slow mode for sound level measurements.
The measured values are stored as an Excel file on an SD memory card, allowing for easy removal and evaluation without additional software. The logger can be powered by 6 x 1.5V AAA batteries or an external plug-in power supply for long-term operation.
The PCE-SLD 10 is commonly used for permanent monitoring of noise levels and can be connected to a controller for further actions. It is suitable for applications like visualizing sound levels on a large display in a production hall or closing windows and doors when the sound level exceeds a certain threshold.
