PCE-HVAC 3 is a multifunction hygrometer used for indoor climate and environmental monitoring. It measures relative humidity, ambient room temperature, and calculates dew-point and wet-bulb temperatures in both degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit. This meter is commonly used for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installations and assessments. The measurements are obtained from built-in sensors and the calculations are based on the transmitted values.
The meter has a large, backlit display and six-button operation for easy reading and use. It can take one-time measurements or monitor climate changes over time. The automatic shutdown function can be disabled for long-term measurements. Additionally, the meter can be mounted on a tripod using the thread on the back. The extreme value function is useful for determining the minimum or maximum values over a desired period of time.
