Description
The PCE-900 is a Leeb hardness tester used to measure the hardness of nine different metals. The tester utilizes the rebound method, where a firing pin bounces on a metallic surface and the intensity of the rebound is used to determine the material hardness. It can measure hardness in six different scales, including Rockwell, Vickers, Leeb, Brinell, and Shore. For the Rockwell scale, it can distinguish between Rockwell B and C.
The PCE-900 Leeb hardness tester comes equipped with a standard type D impact probe, which is suitable for various measurements. It also has the capability to transmit measured values to a PC in real-time through optional software. This makes it a valuable instrument for material inspection in goods control.
