Description
The PCE-2900 hardness tester is designed for measuring the hardness of metallic materials. It can measure hardness using various scales such as Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell, Leeb, and Shore. The Leeb rebound principle is used to measure hardness, where an impactor bounces on the workpiece and the rebound is used to determine the hardness. The hardness tester is equipped with a backlit color display and illuminated buttons for easy reading in low light conditions. It has a cable connection for the impact device and an internal memory for storing measurement sets. The measured values can be transferred to a PC via the integrated USB and WiFi interface. The hardness tester is powered by 1.5V AA batteries and has a battery life of approximately 50 hours.
