The pH meter is designed for direct pH determination in food and meat. It is a waterproof pH tester that provides fast and accurate pH measurement. The pH value is displayed clearly for easy reading. The pH tester has a waterproof and robust housing (IP 67), allowing it to be used in difficult conditions. Recalibration ensures optimum accuracy and is easily performed using optional calibration kits (automatic calibration function without calibration screws – only via keyboard).

Careful control of the pH value is necessary to achieve the desired firmness.
Requirements for pH measurement in aspic production
In order to measure pH in the gelatinous and semisolid aspic, pH sensors with a conical shape and integrated knife are needed. pH meters used in aspic production should have a well-lit and easy-to-read display. Automatic temperature measurement in the product is also required. Data recording is an important option for temperature and pH value processes.

In meat production and processing, pH measurement is important in evaluating the product quality. The pH value of the meat is measured after slaughter and during different stages of processing. The measured pH values are used to assess the quality of the meat and detect any defects.

Experimental method: Take a small sample of the product in a sample cup. Insert the pH electrode and temperature probe carefully into the sample. After 30 seconds, record the pH reading and the temperature. Clean the pH sensor after each measurement to maintain accuracy.
