Material tester with a measuring range of 0 … 2000 µm
The Material tester has the capability to measure coating thickness on both ferrous (Fe) and non-ferrous (NFe) metals. It is equipped with a measuring function based on the SSPC standards for better analysis of the measurements and corrosion protection evaluation.
The Group function of the Material tester allows direct storage of measured values. It has a memory capacity of 50 groups with 50 measurements each. Statistics are generated for all measured values in each group, which can be retrieved after a measurement run.
For further analysis, the Material tester can be connected to a PC via a micro-USB interface. The software enables data transfer, live measurements, and export of measured values in CSV and XLS formats.
In addition to coating thickness measurement, the Material tester can also measure the temperature and humidity of the environment to ensure suitable conditions for coating processing.
The Material tester is capable of determining the coating thickness of pipes with the V-groove feature. An ISO calibration certificate is available as an optional accessory.
