Description
The luminometer is used to quickly and easily check the cleanliness of surfaces and water. It displays a measurement result on the large LC display after only 10 seconds. Up to 10,000 measurement data sets with time and date can be stored on the internal memory of the luminometer.
The luminometer, along with the PCE-ATP Surface Swab Pens, allows for a quick detection of food or microbiological residues on all surfaces in contact with the product. It is used as an effectiveness test of cleaning and disinfection measures. The luminometer performs quantitative determination of intracellular and extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
The measured data from the luminometer can be stored and processed after the measurement. It is used in hygiene control in various industries such as pharmacy, medicine, gastronomy, and wholesalers.
The measurements with the Luminometer are carried out with specially available ATP test tubes. The surface is sampled using a swab contained in the tube. The swab is then inserted into the tube, coming into contact with the reaction liquid and reagent. The reaction liquid collects in the reaction chamber of the tube through gentle shaking. The entire test tube is then inserted into the measuring chamber of the ATP Testing Meter, and the measurement is started.
The luminometer can be used in different business branches, providing complete control and documentation in the food industry and helping implement the HACCP concept. It can also be used by cleaning companies to provide evidence of cleaning services, and in healthcare where cleanliness and sterility are required.
