The level indicator is a suitable device for measuring the fill level of a silo. The 4… 20-mA output signal allows the level indicator to be connected to the operational process control, enabling further processing of the measurement signal. It can be used to check the filling status of a silo and has a high IP protection class for electrical component safety in case of water leakage.
With a measuring range of 10 meters (32.8 ft), the level indicator can also monitor larger silos. Depending on the application, it provides a measured value for either the level or the distance between the medium and the sensor. The ambient temperature can also be measured. The level indicator is an ideal device for monitoring silo systems, thanks to its extensive functions and safety features.
