PCE Instruments – Inspection Camera PCE-VE 250

The Inspection Camera PCE-VE 250 is a diagnostic tool with built-in cleaning function. It is specifically designed for use on machine components. Cleaning can be done using compressed air, or in combination with water and/or detergents. The camera head of the digital endoscope is equipped with a nozzle for precise cleaning. The camera head also has a built-in light, which allows for accurate cleaning.

 

The approximately 90 cm / 2ft 11 in long endoscope cable is semi-flexible, making it easy to insert into openings. Cleaning can be performed using water or detergent. The liquid is moved using compressed air, allowing for cleaning with only compressed air. A shut-off valve is included to stop the liquid supply. By flipping the valve, any remaining fluid in the endoscope tube is blown out, enabling cleaning without liquid. 

When using the digital endoscope for diagnostics, images and videos can be saved on a micro SD card. The package includes a liquid container that can be filled with cleaning fluid. The container’s level is visible for easy monitoring. To use the digital endoscope, a compressed air connection is required, with a pressure of 6 to 8 bar. The endoscope can be charged using the USB interface on the device itself. A car charger adapter is provided for charging on the go, as the battery life is approximately 4 hours in continuous operation.

On the digital endoscope, there is a camera tube that contains both a lighting device and a cleaning device. The lighting can be controlled on the display of the main unit, with adjustable brightness levels. Unlike the endoscope cable, which has a diameter of 4.5 mm / 0.18 in, the camera head has a 8.5 mm diameter due to the additional functions. The endoscope cable is semi-flexible and IP67 rated, providing protection against water, dust, and oil.
