Description
Hot wire anemometer with data storage / Beaufort scale / Measuring range 0.3 … 30.0 m/s / Battery operation / Transport case / Rechargeable via 5 V DC micro-USB interface / Telescopic arm / Swiveling head
The hot wire anemometer measures flow velocity using the hot wire principle, ensuring a compact design. Its measuring range is between 0.3 … 30.0 m/s (0.98 … 98.4 ft/s). In addition to flow velocity, it can also measure volume flow and ambient temperature. Each measurement displays a corresponding Beaufort scale to indicate the current wind strength.
With the built-in data memory, up to 960 measurements can be recorded. The data can be directly read on the hot wire anemometer or transferred to a PC via the micro-USB interface. Software for further data processing is available for download at PCE Instruments.
To ensure optimal alignment, the telescopic arm can be extended up to 270 … 990 mm (10.63 … 38.98 in). The semi-rigid head allows for flexible positioning. The anemometer operates with a 1000 mAh battery for mobile use and can be recharged using a 5 V DC micro-USB power supply.
