The PCE-PTR 200N force gage is a handheld device capable of measuring forces up to 200 N / 45 lbs. It can display measurements in units of N, kg, and lb. The force gage comes with a variety of adapters that can be attached to the device to accommodate different surface designs for pressure and tension measurements. Additionally, an extension rod is provided for measurements in hard-to-reach places, with a length of 65 millimeters / 2.6 inches. The included adapters are: flat head adapter, hook adapter, ball head adapter, chisel head adapter, and notched head adapter. The hook adapter is specifically used for pulling force measurements.
The PCE-PTR 200N force gage can be attached to a test stand using the threads on the rear of the device. Test stands are recommended for obtaining reproducible measurement results. These test stands feature precise hand wheels or motors and can be used for both tensile and compressive force measurements. This makes the force gage suitable for laboratory experiments as well as incoming goods inspections.
Attention: The internal load cell of the force gage is maintenance-free, lightweight, and has an extremely long service life. Only high-quality materials are used in its production to ensure maximum safety and longevity. The force gage has an overload range, exceeding which can damage the internal load cell. Therefore, when choosing a force gage for your application, it is advisable to select a model with a higher measuring range for safety reasons.
