The PCE-FM 500N force gage is a microprocessor controlled dynamometer that provides fast and accurate readout of tensile and compressive forces in N, Kg, and lb. The display of the force gage has large numbers for easy readability. It is equipped with an internal load cell for conducting tensile and compression tests. The load cell has an M6 threaded head, allowing the force gage to be screwed into other brackets, test facilities, and test stands. The force gage can be powered by an internal battery or an external power supply.
The PCE-FM 500N force gage offers the option of mounting the force gauge on a test stand using the threads on the rear of the device. Test stands are essential for achieving reproducible measurement results during force measurement. They are operated by a precise handwheel or motor and allow for both tensile and compressive force measurements.
