Description
The PCE-DFG N Force Gage is capable of measuring both tensile and compressive forces with high resolution. These forces are frequently measured in testing laboratories to determine parameters such as yield strength, pull-off force, and the force required to activate a push-button or switch. The force gage comes with an external measuring cell, with options available to measure up to 10,000 N / 2,248 lbs. Other models are still available for measuring 1,000 N / 225 lbs, 2,500 N / 562 lbs, and 5,000 N / 1,124 lbs. The measuring cells can be adapted to various eyelets or hooks with M10 or M12 thread, and other devices with this thread can also be attached to the measuring cell.
In addition to its measuring capabilities, the force gage features a USB interface, allowing measurement data to be read into PC software. This enables the creation, saving, and exporting of measurement logs. The gage is equipped with a graphic LCD display that shows both numerical and graphical representations of the measured values. It is protected to IP54 standards, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments, as well as outdoor train and pressure tests in inclement weather conditions.
The force gage can be paired with various force test stands for enhanced adaptability. It includes internal memory and comes with hooks, extensions, and tips to further enhance its performance. Notably, the PCE-DFG N force gage allows for interchangeable measuring cells among models. By entering the sensitivity in mV / V, all measuring cells can be used with just one handheld device.
