The force gage can accurately measure both tensile and compressive forces. These measurements are commonly performed in test laboratories to determine parameters such as yield strength, pull-off force, and actuation force for buttons or switches. The force gage comes with an external measuring cell capable of measuring up to 10,000 N / 2,248 lbs, with models available for 1,000 N / 225 lbs, 2,500 N / 562 lbs, and 5,000 N / 1,124 lbs. The measuring cells can be adapted with various eyelets or hooks that have M10 or M12 threads, allowing for the attachment of custom devices.
The force gage is equipped with a USB interface, enabling the reading of measurement data into PC software. This feature allows for the creation, storage, and exportation of measurement logs. The force gage also includes a graphic LCD display that presents measurement values both numerically and graphically. It is rated to IP54 for protection against harsh industrial environments and can be used for outdoor train and pressure tests in unfavorable weather conditions with ease.
To accommodate different testing needs, various force test stands can be connected to the force gage.
