Description
The force gage measures both tensile and compressive forces with high precision. These forces are often measured in a test laboratory to determine properties such as yield strength and pull-off force. The force gage comes with an external measuring cell and can measure up to 10,000 N / 2,248 lbs, with other models available for lower force ranges. The measuring cell can be adapted with various hooks or eyelets, allowing for customization.
With its USB interface, the force gage can connect to a PC for data reading and analysis. This enables the creation, storage, and export of measurement logs. The gage features a graphic LCD display that shows both numerical and graphical representations of the measured values. It is also IP54 protected, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments and outdoor tests.
The force gage can be paired with different force test stands for enhanced functionality. It has an internal memory and comes with hooks, extensions, and tips. One notable feature of the PCE-DFG N force gage is that its measuring cells can be easily interchanged among models. With the ability to input sensitivity in mV / V, all measuring cells can be used with this handheld device.
