The dust monitor is designed for indicative examination of environmental parameters. It allows measurement of fine dust, temperature, and relative humidity. The bright display of the dust monitor shows information about these parameters. Continuous environmental monitoring can be done for up to five hours without connecting the device to a power source.
For permanent measurement, the dust monitor can be connected to the mains through a USB interface. The rechargeable battery can be fully charged within two hours when the dust monitor is turned off. The use of a color rating scale simplifies the display of concentrations and provides direct information on air quality.
In addition to indicative measurement of formaldehyde, which can be harmful to health, the monitor also allows for an orienting measurement of particulate matter pollution. It distinguishes between particles with a maximum diameter of up to 10 μm (PM10) and particles up to a diameter of 2.5 μm (PM2.5).
