The coating thickness gauge accurately determines the thickness of plastics, paints, and other coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. With a measuring range from 0 to 5000 µm on ferrous metals, the gauge is suitable for a wide range of measurement tasks. It offers high accuracy, up to ±(1.0% of mv. + 0.5 µm), making it a precise measuring device. The gauge’s V-groove sensor enables measurements on convex and concave surfaces.

The measured values can be saved on the gauge, with a maximum memory capacity of 2000 readings. These values can be transferred to a computer for analysis using the included software. Exporting the measured values in CSV format allows for further processing.

The gauge features a limit value alarm function and a target/actual range storage. When the test object falls within the set range, a green LED signals its compliance. Similarly, a red LED indicates when the measured value is outside the range. The limit value alarm function facilitates quality assurance in incoming and final inspections.

The gauge’s housing is rubberized to provide additional protection to the electronics. An ISO calibration certificate is available as an optional feature.
