The coating thickness gauge accurately determines the thickness of plastics, paints, and other coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. With a measuring range of up to 0 … 5000 µm on ferrous metals, it covers a wide range of measuring tasks. Its high accuracy, up to ±(1.0% of reading + 0.5 µm), makes it a precise measuring device. The coating thickness gauge features a V-groove sensor that allows measurements on convex and concave surfaces.

Measured values can be saved on the coating thickness gauge, which has a data storage capacity of up to 2,000 values. These values can be transferred to a computer for analysis using the provided software. The measured values can also be exported in CSV format for further processing.

The coating thickness gauge includes a limit value alarm function, which allows the user to set a target/actual range. If the measured value falls within the set range, a green LED indicates conformity. If the measured value is outside the range, a red LED indicates non-conformity. This alarm function is particularly useful in quality assurance for incoming and final inspections.

The housing of the coating thickness gauge is rubberized for added electronic protection. Additionally, the coating thickness gauge can be equipped with an ISO calibration certificate if desired.
