Description
The coating thickness gauge is suitable for measuring the thickness of plastics, paints, and other coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It has a wide measuring range of up to 0 … 5000 µm on ferrous metals, making it suitable for various measuring tasks. Its high accuracy of up to ±(1.0% of mv. + 0.5 µm) ensures precise measurements.
The V-groove sensor on the gauge allows for measurements on convex surfaces, expanding its versatility. Additionally, it can also measure on concave surfaces.
During measurements, the gauge can store up to 2,000 measured values. These values can be transferred to a computer for analysis using the included software. The data can be exported in CSV format for further processing.
The gauge features a limit value alarm function, which allows the user to store a target/actual range. When the test object falls within the defined range, a green LED is signaled. If the measured value is outside the set range, a red LED is indicated. This feature makes the gauge useful for quality assurance in incoming and final inspection.
To ensure the durability of the gauge’s electronics, the housing is rubberized for added protection. Additionally, an ISO calibration certificate is available as an optional feature.
