Description
Coating thickness gauge with V-groove sensor for measuring range from 0 to 5000 µm. This gauge has adjustable alarm limits, a robust housing, software, and data storage. It offers a high accuracy of up to ±(1.0% of reading + 0.5 µm) and is optionally available with an ISO calibration certificate.
The coating thickness gauge is capable of accurately determining the thickness of plastics, paints, and other coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It has a wide measuring range of up to 5000 µm on ferrous metals. The gauge is highly precise with an accuracy of up to ±(1.0% of mv. + 0.5 µm).
The gauge’s V-groove sensor allows for measurements on convex surfaces. Additionally, measurements can be conducted on concave surfaces. The measured values can be saved directly on the gauge, which has a maximum memory capacity of 2000 readings. The saved data can be transferred to a computer and analyzed using the provided software. The data can also be exported in CSV format for further processing.
The coating thickness gauge features a limit value alarm function, allowing users to set target/actual ranges. A green LED signal indicates that the test object is within the set area, while a red LED signal indicates that the measured value is outside the range. This function is particularly useful for quality assurance in incoming and final inspections.
The housing of the coating thickness gauge is rubberized to provide additional protection to the electronics. Optionally, the gauge can be equipped with an ISO calibration certificate.
