Description
The coating thickness gauge is a measuring device used to non-destructively measure coatings (varnishes, paints, plastics, etc.) on steel/iron and non-ferrous metals. It is equipped with an externally connected sensor, allowing it to reach difficult-to-access measuring points easily. The menu navigation system of the gauge enables easy adjustment and setting of new parameters, making it an indispensable tool for control measurements in production, workshop, and quality assurance.
Additionally, the coating thickness gauge is highly suitable for quickly determining and assessing accident damage to vehicles. In the industrial sector, it is also well-suited for incoming and outgoing inspection as well as material testing in production.
Designed with ergonomics in mind, the coating thickness gauge with an external sensor enables rapid and accurate measurement results. It can measure non-magnetic layers (e.g. paint, plastic, chrome, copper, zinc, enamel) on steel/iron and non-conductive layers (e.g. paint, plastic, enamel, paper, glass, rubber) on copper, aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and anodized aluminum.
The coating thickness gauge offers the following features:
- For measurements on iron/steel and non-ferrous metals
- Measurements are not influenced by vibrations
- Practical V-groove on the measuring heads
- Ergonomic design
- Warning message for measurements outside the maximum measuring range
- Wear-resistant, spring-mounted measuring head for precise measuring results
