With this car measuring device, layer thicknesses on metallic surfaces can be accurately determined. The device has a measuring range of 1500 µm. It is commonly used in paint shops, for incoming goods inspection, or by experts. The device also features a Bluetooth interface which allows data transfer to mobile iOS or Android devices, where it can be exported in various file formats such as CSV, PDF or TXT. The device also offers a live view with analysis of measured values through a free app.
In addition to the Bluetooth interface, the car measuring device also has a micro USB interface. This interface enables data transfer to a PC for further analysis. One unique feature is that the device can be operated without batteries through this interface, reducing dependency on battery charge level.
