The cable length measuring device PCE-CLT 10 is a versatile device that provides accurate and fast measurement results. It can measure both installed and ready-to-be-installed cables. The device uses time domain reflectometry to measure cable lengths up to three kilometers or two miles. It has 20 standard cable types pre-stored and the user can store up to 99 cable types on the device. The stored data can be viewed on the device itself. The device is also capable of testing relatively short cables.
To extend battery life, the device automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity. The automatic shutdown can be individually set by the user at intervals of 10 minutes. The device features a bright TFT display with backlighting for easy reading of measurement results.
