The cable finder PCE-186 CB consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter has various functions including finding wires in walls or detecting cable breaks. It can also test telephone sockets by plugging the RJ-11 connector into the socket. The transmitter signals an incoming call by using LEDs, eliminating the need for a phone to verify.
In addition to these features, the cable finder has a multimeter function that can measure AC voltages and DC voltages up to 1000 VDC.
