Software for transferring the measured values
The automotive tester has a measuring range of 0 … 2000 µm. It can measure the coating thickness on both ferrous (Fe) and non-ferrous (NFe) metals. The tester also includes a measuring function based on SSPC standards for analyzing the corrosion protection of a coating.
The Group function stores measured values directly on the tester. It has a memory capacity of 50 groups with 50 measurements each. Statistics are created for all measured values, which can be recalled after a measurement run.
The tester can be connected to a PC for further analysis of the measured values. It has a micro-USB interface for this purpose. The software allows for the transfer of measurement data from the tester to a PC. Live measurements can also be carried out using the software. The measured values can be exported in CSV and XLS format via the software.
In addition to coating thickness, the tester can also measure the temperature and humidity of the environment. This function helps determine if the climatic conditions are suitable for further processing on the coating.
With the V-groove, the tester can determine the coating thickness of pipes and similar objects.
