Description
The PCE-CT 100N is a surface tester designed for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is very compact in size and allows for non-destructive and precise measurements. The tester has the capability to transmit data via USB and Wifi, and offers simple operation along with reliable results.
The surface tester utilizes the magnetic inductive (ISO 2178) and eddy current method (ISO 2360) for testing materials. These methods are used to measure the thickness of magnetically neutral layers on both magnetic and non-magnetic base materials.
With its external probe, the surface tester is ideal for on-site layer thickness measurements. Its compact size allows for measurements to be taken in hard-to-reach areas. The tester was developed to provide fast, precise, and non-destructive measurements of layer thickness. Archived data can be easily transferred to a PC using a USB data storage device or via WiFi.
The surface tester finds particular application in the finishing industry, electroplating, ship and bridge construction, aircraft construction, as well as in the machine and chemical industry.
The key features of the PCE-CT 100N are:
– Illuminated touch keyboard
– Measurement data storage for up to 1260 data points
– One-point and multi-point calibration
– Single measurement and continuous measurement modes
– Data transfer via wifi and USB
– Two different probes for NFe and Fe
