The PCE-ATP 1-KIT with 100 swabs is used to quickly and easily check surface cleanliness. The ATP Tester displays measurement results on the large LC display in just 10 seconds. It has an internal memory that can store up to 10,000 data sets with time and date.
The PCE-ATP 1, along with the PCE-ATP SwapPens, allows for quick detection of food or microbiological residues on all surfaces in contact with the product. It is used as an effectiveness test for cleaning and disinfection measures. The portable PCE-ATP 1 performs quantitative determination of intracellular and extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
The measured data can be stored and processed after the measurement. The ATP Tester is widely used in hygiene control in pharmacy, medicine, gastronomy, wholesalers, and other industries.
Measurements with the ATP Tester are done using specially available ATP test tubes. The surface is sampled with the swab contained in the tube, which is then pressed down into the tube to come into contact with the reaction liquid and reagent. By gentle shaking, the reaction liquid collects in the tube’s reaction chamber. The entire test tube is then placed into the measuring chamber of the PCE-ATP 1 and the measurement is started. After 10 seconds, the measurement result is displayed in Relative Light Units (RLU).
