PCE-MA 110 is an absolute moisture meter or halogen moisture analyzer that operates on the gravimetric or loss on drying (LOD) principle. It uses the halogen method to dry the material sample and calculates moisture content based on the weight difference before and after drying. The halogen-heated drying chamber of the moisture analyzer is suitable for testing and analyzing samples of materials like wood, pellets, biomass, granules, feed, food products, and pastes.
With an impressive resolution of 0.01 g / 10 mg, the moisture analyzer can accurately determine small weight differences. It can cover the entire moisture content range from 0…100% with a resolution of 0.1%. Measurement values are clearly displayed on the large LCD screen.
The moisture analyzer includes adjustable drying time (1…99 minutes) and adjustable drying temperature (+40…+199 °C). It has the capability to store up to 16 drying profiles, ensuring a controlled and repeatable testing process for accurate results. The moisture analyzer can be calibrated at any time using the automatic calibration function and the included 100 g weight.
